COLD PLASMA

Cold Plasma, also known as non-thermal plasma, is one of the newest cutting edge medical concepts out there. It is a medical device that utilises non-thermal (cool) plasma technology that involves the cold plasma to flow from the device as it's passed across your skin, causing an immediate contraction of sub-dermal tissues and a near-instantaneous improvement in surface skin.

Harnessing the power of ground-breaking plasma technology creates purposeful trauma to the skin, so it begins to regenerate damaged skin cells allowing it to reduce excess skin, improve scarring and fine lines. Following just one treatment the skin will look noticeably lighter, smoother and healthier.

  • Will the hair grow back thicker?
This is a myth as it is physiologically impossible. As it is being cut across the surface, it can sometimes feel different when regrowing but will remain the same thickness as before.
  • How often can this treatment be done?
Dermaplaning can be done every 3-4 weeks to prevent build-up of dead skin cells
  • Does it hurt?
It is a pain-free treatment and is known to be relaxing. The edge of the scalpel is used at a 45 degree angle which prevents scraping of the skin.
  • Who is it suitable for?
Everyone can benefit from Dermaplaning - unless you have certain skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is particularly great for those suffering with dry, dull skin, fine lines and rough skin texture.
